PLEASE READ THIS POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE/APPLICATION.
1. INFORMATION ABOUT US
- 1.1 AGORA CO-LEARNING SPACES PTE. LTD., is a company organized and existing under the laws of Singapore (UEN 202028118K) with its registered office address at 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422 (“Agora” or “We”).
2. SCOPE OF POLICY
- 2.1 This Policy sets out how Agora will manage any requests for replacement sessions, rescheduling, refunds or re-enrolments.
- 2.2 We believe that a simple, consistent, and clear policy benefits parents, students and education providers alike.
3. REPLACEMENT (”MAKE-UP”) SESSIONS
- 3.1 Each education provider’s replacement session policy is shown under their course pages. They will be either:
- 3.1.1 No replacements; or
- 3.1.2 1 replacement per student for an entire Course Instance; or
- 3.1.3 2 replacements per student for an entire Course Instance; or
- 3.1.4 A flexible replacement policy (no specific limit for replacements but on best efforts basis).
- 3.2 You can notify Agora by informing us in-person, over email, a call or online chat.
- 3.3 We ask that you give us as much notice as possible, but we do understand…life happens. Hence, we will accept notice up until the session is conducted. We will not ask for a medical certificate. And there will be no additional charges to you.
- 3.4 We aim to provide replacement sessions on a best-efforts basis. We won’t always have suitable options from each provider to meet your preferred dates, but we will do our best to accommodate your reasonable preferences.
- 3.5 Due to liability management, all replacement sessions will take place at Agora’s co-learning centre or, if possible, online.
4. RESCHEDULING A COURSE
- 4.1 You can reschedule to another course from the same education provider until the day prior to the course beginning
- 4.2 This is on a best-effort basis, and subject to availability. No additional charges will be levied.

5. REFUNDS
- 5.1 CANCELLATION BEFORE COURSE STARTS

5.1.1 You acknowledge and agree that in the event that you cancel a booking for a Course prior to the commencement of that Course, the following refund policy will apply:
(a) Cancellation occurs > 2 Weeks Prior to Course start date: we will refund 100% of the applicable fees
(b) Cancellation occurs 1 - 2 Weeks Prior to Course start date: we will refund 90% of the applicable fees
(c) Cancellation occurs <1 Weeks Prior to Course start date: we will refund 0% of the applicable fees

- 5.2 CANCELLATION ONCE COURSE HAS STARTED
- 5.2.1 You acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to any refund of any fees if Agora receives your refund request after the commencement of the applicable Course.
- 5.2.2 You/your child will not be entitled to attend any replacement Session unless the full fee applicable to that replacement session is paid, subject to availability.
- 5.3 MISSING A SESSION
- 5.3.1 You acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to any refund of any fees if you / your child does not attend a Session.
- 5.4 REPLACEMENT (”MAKE-UP”) SESSIONS
- 5.4.1 You/your child will not be entitled to attend any replacement Session unless the full fee applicable to that replacement session is paid, subject to availability.
- 5.5 Any refund will be applied to the same payment method used for the original purchase. Please allow 3 - 5 days for the transaction to be completed.
- 5.6 You can notify us in person, by email or by telephone.
6. RE-ENROLMENT PROCESS
- 6.1 Some of the courses provided at Agora are eligible for “preferential re-enrolment”. That is when a student enrolled in a specific course has the right to reserve a place in the subsequent term of this course ahead of new students. For instance, a student attending Term I Maths will be given priority to join Term II Maths over new students applying to attend the course.
- 6.2 If the course is subject to preferential re-enrolment, parents of already-enrolled students will receive a notification ahead of time. If such is the case, you will have to confirm and complete payment for the course during a specified booking window in order to secure their spot. We ask for your understanding and prompt action on such notices, or your child may lose their spot.
7. RESCHEDULING BY AGORA
- 7.1 Agora shall not be liable for any non-performance or delay of any of its obligations that is impacted by a Force Majeure Event.
- 7.2 Without prejudice to Clause 7.4, where a Force Majeure Event occurs, Agora shall use its reasonable efforts to:
- 7.2.1 promptly notify you of the existence of the Force Majeure Event and the impacted Sessions;
- 7.2.2 reschedule the impacted Session(s) (if possible); and/or
- 7.2.3 arrange an alternative arrangement to make up for the impacted Sessions.
- 7.3 You and Agora shall each bear the costs that they incur as a result of the Force Majeure Event.
8. DEFINITIONS
- 8.1 For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
- 8.1.1 “Force Majeure Event” means any of the following events or occurrences: acts of God, governmental act, war, fire, flood, explosion or civil commotion, unavailability of the Education Provider, teach or Agora personnel, unavailability or unsuitability of the applicable Site, or any unforeseeable event that prevents Agora from performing its obligations.
- 8.1.2 “Session” means an education session booked through the Agora platform.
- 8.1.3 “Course” means a series of Sessions that make up an educational programme
